[CoD 7 ] call of duty 7

"Call of Duty 7: Black Ops (CoD7) is the next game in the massive Call of Duty (CoD) franchise. In a recent report on Tek9, Activision shared some details about the new CoD game.

Black ops is scheduled for release in November 2010 and sources indicate the game developed by Treyarch will be set in history, between World War II and present day. It is also hinted that some of the missions will take gamers to Cuba and South America which hints at a Cold War and Vietnam based game.


In true Modern Warfare style, gamers will reportedly get a chance to play as a member of the Special Air Service (SAS) in which players will be involved in close combat during a mission in the Iranian embassy during the 1980’s."

Au vu du plantage de cod6 en terme de popularité, nos amis de infinity ward se ravise pour les joueurs pcistes, c'est bon ça mon Kiki je te sens d'avance jubilé au futur mod cod7. De beaux models en perspectives.

Ouai c'est clair, un bon petit mod en perspective.
Sinon le probleme de cod6, c'est qu'il ont fait les bon a rien et n'ont jamais devellopé le multi pour pc apres avoir pris du retard sur le dev du solo et pris des engagement pour la date de sortie...
Et oui un multi ça se developpe pas en une semaine et ils ont jugé mieux de nous foutre le multi console avec le iw.net ect plutot que retarder la sortie du jeux pc, quelle bande de cons...

Beaucoup de rumeurs circulent sur COD7, la dernière en date je les trouver sur jeuxvideo.com :

Le net gronde aujourd'hui d'un nouveau flot de rumeurs concernant Call of Duty 7 dont on soupçonne déjà le fort penchant vers la période de la Guerre Froide. Selon les derniers bruits de couloir, ce septième volet se déroulerait entre la Seconde Guerre mondiale et aujourd'hui, un peu partout sur la planète, l'Amérique du Sud et l'Asie ayant déjà été évoquées. Un chapitre entier serait par ailleurs consacré aux SAS britanniques que l'on incarnerait dans l'ambassade anglaise d'Iran dans les année 80. Au chapitre des détails, le jeu serait sous-titré Black Ops. Côté multijoueur, le mode Zombie de Call of Duty World at War pourrait être de retour ainsi que... les serveurs dédiés sur PC.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare developer Infinity Ward is a little bit smaller today, as two more longtime employees have left the embattled studio. Veteran programmer Jon Shiring and designer Mackey McCandlish have parted ways with the home of Modern Warfare.

Shiring announced his resignation from the Encino-based Infinity Ward via Twitter, as spotted by 1UP, saying "After almost 6 years at Infinity Ward, I resigned today. I'm incredibly proud of everything we accomplished and I'm going to miss everyone." He follows fired co-founders Jason West and Vince Zampella—now leading Respawn Entertainment, and recently departed lead designer Todd Alderman and lead software engineer Francesco Gigliotti.

Shiring worked at Infinity Ward for five years, 11 months, according to his LinkedIn profile, departing the same day that Zampella and West announced their new studio backed by Electronic Arts, Call of Duty publisher Activision's chief rival.

The bleeding of key talent at the Modern Warfare developer doesn't stop there, as we've been told another development lead on the team has also quit the studio. Modern Warfare 2 lead designer Mackey McCandlish gave his goodbyes to his Infinity Ward cohorts earlier today via Facebook. McCandlish was with the developer for eight years, one of the IW team members credited with additional writing duties.

That makes Infinity Ward at least six longtime employees shorter as of March 1 way beyond a trend.

Ca fait six veterans de chez IW qui se barrent, dont deux qui apparament avait créé le moteur COD2/COD4.
Va falloir que je me resigne call of duty c'est fini
Avec tout les jeux de merde qui sortent (et je ne pense pas que la serie COD relevera le niveau) et le COD4 qui veilli je crois que ma carriere de gamer a du plomb dans l'aile

Seul l' avenir nous le dira, mais bon, on peut toujours rêver !

Ba battlefield me rebute, les graphismes j'ai l'impression que c'est un dessin animé, la ballistique est completement foireuse, les hitbox a ce qui parait tu tire une tete a coté ça touche quand meme, de meme sources les armes du debut sont nazes et meme si t'as un peu de skill tu peux rien faire fasse aux gars qui ont les bonnes armes debloqués.
Bref pour moi c'est un jeu de merde et j'ai pas assez de temps pour jouer a des jeux de merde.

Bon je ne te donne que mon avis kiki mais les graphismes je les trouves mieux que CoD4 et même que CoD6 ainsi que le gameplay. Pour ce qui est du skill il est vrai qu'au début c'est dur mais on monte vite si on joue en équipe et surtout sur notre serv avec de vraies règles! Et puis pour un jeu de merde comme tu dis il a quand même du succès chez les =NO= Et encore un dernier truc, je ne compte plus sur Activision et IW depuis leur CoD6...

Vous etes libre de jouer aux jeux que vous voulez les gars, je suis libre de jouer a ceux que je veux.
Si BC2 ça vous plait tant mieux pour vous, perso ça m'interesse pas, apriori ou pas je me suis fait mon idée et j'ai eu pas mal de retour de la part de diverses personnes que je connais qui joue a BC2 qui pense comme moi alors qu'ils y ont joué et qu'ils ont le jeux.
Enfin on devie du sujet original, IW je compte plus dessus non plus, COD4 vieilli malgres toutes les modifs qu'on peut lui foutre dans la gueule mais pour moi ça reste "LE" jeux a tout point de vue et jamais je le remplacerai le par BC2 ou un autre jeux qui a mes yeux est tout pourri.
D'ailleurs je sature de BC2 en n'y aillant meme jamais jouer...

38 Infinity Ward Employees File Lawsuit Against Activision Over Royalties, Alleges Devs Held "Hostage"


UPDATE 2:53 PM: Activision has issued a brief response to the lawsuit:
"Activision believes the action is without merit," said a company spokesperson over e-mail just moments ago. "Activision retains the discretion to determine the amount and the schedule of bonus payments for MW2 and has acted consistent with its rights and the law at all times. We look forward to getting judicial confirmation that our position is right.

ORIGINAL STORY: The other shoe has now dropped.

I've obtained a copy of a lawsuit filed this morning in the Los Angeles Superior Court by 38 plaintiffs, calling themselves the "Infinity Ward Employee Group," against Activision. The Infinity Ward Employee Group (whom I'll refer to as IWEG throughout the rest of this story) alleges breach of contract, breach of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing, violation of California labor code and more. The group is after a large amount of unpaid royalties.

"Activision owes my clients approximately $75 million to $125 million dollars," said Bruce Issacs, one of the IWEG's attorneys at Wyman & Issacs LLP, over the phone this afternoon. "Activision has withheld most of the money to force many of my people to stay, some against their will, so that they would finish the delivery of Modern Warfare 3. That is not what they wanted to do. Many of them. My clients' entitled to their money. Activision has no right to withhold their money -- our money."

The IWEG contains "a significant portion of the members of the creative team" who "designed, developed and delivered" Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 to Activision. According to the lawsuit, $28 million has been delivered to Infinity Ward employees for bonuses related to Modern Warfare 2, but the suit alleges at least $54 million is still due from 2009 profits alone.

They want more than $54 million, however. The IWEG is looking "to recover between $75 million and $125 million, if not more, in compensatory damages." That number's derived from:


Unpaid bonuses from 2009 and 2010 sales generated by Modern Warfare 2 -- fourth quarter 2009 and first quarter 2010, specifically.


Bonuses "due and owing to them" past first quarter 2010.


"Bonus/royalty/profit participation" related to "technology/engine" royalties, "other special performance bonuses," "other studio bonuses" or "any other bonus/royalty/profit participation."'


Lost value on "restricted stock units" that Activision "promised" would vest (read: own it in your own name and purchase it from Activision) when Modern Warfare 2 sales eclipsed Modern Warfare 1, which "has long ago occurred."


Money owed as it relates to Modern Warfare 2 "sister games, including but not limited to" the oft-mentioned Modern Warfare 3, "if Modern Warfare 3 is ultimately delivered and marketed."


Interest rates related to the above sums of money.


The lawsuit focuses on royalties generated for Modern Warfare 2 following release and the agreement between Infinity Ward employees and Activision for receiving the subsequent bonuses. The IWEG contends the only condition for becoming eligible for said bonuses was delivering Modern Warfare 2 in time for the game's intended November 10, 2009 launch. Modern Warfare 2 did launch as scheduled on November 10 last year, generating $1.1 billion in 2009.

Modern Warfare 3 has been mentioned during the legal back-and-forth between ex-Infinity Ward leadership Vince Zampella and Jason West and Activision, and it's brought up again here, too.

The IWEG alleges Activision has "improperly withheld this specifically identifiable sum of money from the members of IWEG in order to force them to keep working for Activision so that Activision could receive delivery of Modern Warfare 3." The suit alleges Activision "made a calculated, purposeful and malicious decision" to withhold proper bonuses "in an attempt to force employees of Infinity Ward to continue to work at a job that many of them did not want just so Activision could force them to complete the development, production and delivery of Modern Warfare 3."

The legal language gets harsher, too.

"In short," reads the lawsuit, "Activision withheld the property of the IWEG in an attempt to keep the employees hostage so that Activision could reap the benefit of the completion of Modern Warfare 3."

What does the IWEG want in return? "At least in the additional amount of $75 million to $500 million as an award for punitive damages," continues the lawsuit, citing a number calculated from the blockbuster sales of Modern Warfare 2 and "Activision's net worth."

The IWEG also believes Activision violated California Labor Code during their alleged failure of payment.

"Activision has a duty to pay all of the members of the IWEG all of the money they are owed [...] within 72 hours of the termination of their employment," reads the lawsuit. "Activision, however, has failed to do so."

The full list of plantiffs mentioned in the suit (not all of them have left Infinity Ward): Todd Alderman, Frank Gigliotti, Roger Abrahamsson, Brad Allen, Mohammad Alavi, Richard Baker, Chad Barb, Keith Bell, Chris Cherubini, Taihoon William Cho, Chris Dionne, Joel Emslie, Robert Field, Steve Fuduka, Robert Gaines, Chance Glasco, Preston Glenn, Joel Gompert, Chad Grenier, Mark Grigsby, John Haggerty, Jacob Michael Keating, Chris Lambert, Ryan Lastimosa, Fairfax S. McCandlish IV, Jason McCord, Brent Mcleod, John Paul Messerly, Stephen Miller, Zied Rieke, Jon Shiring, John Slayback, Richard Smith, Geoffery Smith, Jiesang Song, Todd Sue, Rayme C. Vinson and Lei Yang. All are represented by Wyman & Issacs LLP located in Los Angeles.

Ouais bah sincèrement on vois rien, ni pour dire que ça donne envie ou pas quoi, j'attends la suite, et surtout savoir si côté serveur c'est un cod6 bis ou pas (ça sera le seul juge de paix pour moi)
